A group of Florida families represented by the Southern Poverty Law Centre, Lambda Lawful, Southern Authorized Counsel, and private counsel Baker McKenzie submitted a lawsuit to block the Parental Legal rights in Education invoice.
The invoice, which bans discussions of sexuality and gender identification in kindergarten as a result of third grade, has been labeled the “Never Say Homosexual” bill by critics.
